Foundation Makeup
When people think about a foundation makeup they usually think of a liquid.
Foundation make-up comes in different formulas. There is:
- liquid foundation
- cream foundation
- mousse foundation
- powder foundation
- compact foundation
- spray foundation
All those foundation make up are different texture. That means they have a different finish or coverage, as well.
Finding the perfect foundation makeup for your skin type and tone, it is not easy. It's very important to use a very
good quality makeup foundation. It is said the make up foundation is your second skin. That's why it has to look
flawless.
The perfect make-up foundation gives you some coverage but doesn't look like you are wearing anything. So,
don't buy a cheap, drugstore one. Go for a big brand. You pay few dollars more but you can be sure you've got
what's best.
3 steps to follow when you look for a makeup foundation:
Step 1 - Ask to be skin typed and colour typed, first. That's how you find the right texture for your skin type. If you
are an oily skin you must use an oil free make up foundation. If you are a dry skin you need a more moisturizing
texture.
Step 2 - Ask to try the colours on your cheek. It's extremely important to try it on your face. There is a completely
different body temperature on your face than on your hand. And most of the times a different skin tone. Then wait
few seconds to see if the colour changes. If it happens than look for another colour.
Step 3 - Ask to try the colour and texture you decided for all over your face.
